SUP with your Pup
Does your pup love to SUP? Who can blame him? We’re inviting all well-behaved Fluffys and Fidos to come paddle on Sunday, August 20, 4 p.m.
Event sponsor Mountain High Outfitters will have some cool Ruffwear swag to give away. We’ll show you some fun tricks that you can do with your dog on a paddleboard (see Jacky and LeRoy pictured here). And, we’ll have a mini dog & person race…That’s right! See how fast/straight you can paddle when you have a dog on your board (or in a kayak), and your dog is distracted by other dogs on other boards.
We have some pup-shaped PFDs, but if your dog has her own life jacket, please bring it.
Book online or by calling us at 615-682-1787 (1SUP). Cost is $40; $15 if BYOB. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Metro Animal Care and Control.
Remember: You can always bring your dog out to paddle with you when you rent from us. There’s a small ($5) fee to cover wear and tear to the boards and we ask that you book in advance so that we have the proper board reserved for you.
