Music City SUP Race Registration is Open
Registration is now open for the third (not-quite-annual) Music City SUP Race. This race welcomes paddleboarders, kayakers and prone paddlers to race in the heart of downtown Nashville. We welcome pros and first-time racers alike.
The event launches from the East Bank of the Cumberland River, with vendors helping us kick off 2-mile and 6-mile races. Afterwards there’s an award ceremony upstairs in the Cumberland River Compact River Center and an after party to follow at a downtown restaurant and bar.
Registration fees are $40 and $50 respectively for the 2-mile and 6-mile races. After July 4, 2016, fees for all categories increase by $10 each. Proceeds from the race benefit the Cumberland River Compact, which works to protect our watershed.
Nashville Paddle Co. will be launching a Thursday Night Race League this summer, which is a great way to get to know other racers and train for this race. If you’ve been thinking about racing, this is a great opportunity.
